Welcome to Scotland Live 2008, a unique five-day showcase which will feature a range of high quality theatre and dance created by Scottish companies. As well as featuring special performances selected by a panel of industry experts to represent the best of the work staged in Scotland over the past year, Scotland Live includes performances of new work by the National Theatre of Scotland, Catherine Wheels and the Traverse Theatre.

The Federation of Scottish Theatre, the membership body for the professional theatre sector in Scotland, is delighted to have this opportunity to highlight Scottish work. All of the companies included in the event are available to tour internationally – touring enquiries should be directed to the contact from each company.

Scotland Live 2008 follows on from the fantastically successful inaugural Scotland Live programme in March 2008 and we hope the showcase will be even more exciting, stimulating and fruitful.
