Scottish Dance Theatre (SDT) is Scotland’s national contemporary dance company, Artistic Director - Janet Smith.  The ethos of the company is one of shared exploration, both in process and performance; a real curiosity about creative collaboration and a desire to be truth seeking story tellers. The company tours a body of original work by  Janet Smith, international artists and emerging talent – a repertoire that is constantly evolving, pushing boundaries and expectations.  SDT invests in creativity and in the 11 years since Janet’s appointment the company has toured over 35 new and original works. Part of Dundee Rep Theatre, SDT is unique in the UK as the only contemporary dance company housed in a producing theatre.

• In the Middle of the Moment is one work from our 2009 repertoire of work which also includes work by Janet Smith, Hofesh Shechter, Ina Christel Johannessen and Liv Lorent. 
• In the Middle of the Moment is a piece for two performers, set in a three metre square of light
